The software is in essence one executable (portable) so posting a link for this one executable in a zip should not be a problem would it.

Think of the.exe as a wrapper.

Just as with an archive wrapper you would need a program to extract it, why not do the same with the.exe See here.

What does phox mean by UPX-ed phox, we have given you ways of not having to spend time installing it.

Yeah, having portable option of extracting for installer is perfect.

Added portable option to the installer, however, there will be a small silent fix to it post-2072 to remove Start Menu creation when portable.

Skipping reg and uninstaller is there, but start menu slipped by.

So let me know later when you try newer version if it fits your needs.

I always install a new version, but after backing up etc, running many different versions side by side, i always run them as a portable.
